I have very good LORs last year when I was applying MD. At the top right hand of the page it includes my aamc ID, it looks something like this:

Date
Writers email
Writers name
Letter to: (my name)
My AAMC ID:

I plan to submit these letters when I apply to DO this cycle. Is this a huge red flag for osteopathic schools? I am not even applying to allopathic schools this year, but will this cause them to think that i am applying to them as a back up? Is this disrespectful? has this happened to anyone before?
Do i reach out to my letter of reocmendation writers from last year to tell them to remove it?

any ADCOMS, Thoughts? what would you think if u had a LOR and it had AAMC id on it, would you take the applicant less seriously?

We take it for granted that people are applying to MD schools at the same time they're applying to DO. We don't take it personally.
wait but mrsmile12 said that accomass aparently also uses AAMC IDs so AAMC is neutral its not exlusive to AMCAS so it shoulndt have any impact. like at all.

Also im not applying MD
