Feedback/thoughts with these DAT scores please

Hi,

So I took the DAT today for the second time and I scored pretty much the same as i did my first time. living around the national averages...

Reading comp was really obscure, did the worst there (15). what are peoples experiences/suggestions for that section?

To tell you the truth my brother.., you have to retake it. 15 in QR although its bad some schools might look past that if you did well in everything else like 20's across the board. But that 15 in RC and a 17 AA is not going to do it. What did you use to prepare for the RC and QR part? I know how it feels about retaking it, I'm also retaking the exam this summer, but stay confident and tell yourself at least you have one final time. I know you don't want to hear anyone say that, but take like 1 1/2 break, and since everything is fresh in your mind and you know what there asking; i would jump back on the material.

Honestly, your score is very low. RC is a very important section and a 15 in RC will "guarantee" you many rejections. Retake is a must. If you feel like that's the best you can do, then dentistry is not for you.
