So I just completed my freshman year at Bryn Mawr College and, to be honest, I did poorly. I see people on here stressing about B's while I got a 1.7 in bio and calc. This makes me really worried about my chances of getting into a medical school/D.O school- ill probably apply to both.
I did really badly in my biology and calculus classes (1.7 in both) I cannot retake these classes for credit at bryn mawr. I can still retake them for a higher grade that wont be averaged into my GPA, though. I am really worried about my GPA and am working on my study habits. It's not like i spent my freshman year partying-if you know Bryn Mawr, you know that is certainly not the case-for anyone!
But anyway I am just writing this thread to ask you all if I should continue on as pre-med or just give up? Is there any chance of coming back and being a good candidate for medical school (like SUNY downstate? I am from Brooklyn)?
Also, could you all offer any tips for studying? What works best for you? Do you have any good time management tips as well?
I definitely welcome any other tips you all have to offer. Thanks in advance.
*oh and i score pretty well on standardized tests, if that makes any difference at all*
