Hey Guys....
I have a question....For those of you who have participated in interviews, did you feel confident initially when you left....And then after a few weeks you start to doubt yourself BIGGGGTIME?? This is happening to me!! And Its driving me crazy. Now, when I think back I am not sure if I was happy the Interview was over, or--IF i did well....help me out, any of you guys feel the same way, and then get accepted?? 😳 😳 😳

I think everyone feels the same way. It is just human nature to start second guessing yourself. In my opinion, how you felt the interview went right after the interview is what counts. I've had interviews where I felt that it didn't go so well and I've had interviews that I felt went great immediately after the interview and that first impression has been almost always right.

Absolutely. The interview at my top choice school was not laid back and easygoing at all as they were for other schools I interviewed at. Hahaha I even cried during my drive home when talking on the phone about it. I guess when you really want something badly you might start feeling the way you've described in your post... or in a more extreme case feel how I felt. Good news is, even though I didn't feel as great after that interview as I did for other schools' interviews, I got an immediate acceptance. Sometimes you can't predict these things. Your performance at your interview may not measure up to your own standards yet you can find later that you did get in afterall.

Haha I felt extremely positive about the whole experience when I left. Then I started thinking that maybe I only felt positive about it because everyone was so nice and I smiled the whole time to make a good impression. The next few days I started thinking about specifics. I started thinking that my answers weren't good enough and that I was too honest, and I thought about stupid stuff that happened like how my name tag got stuck in my hair everytime I stood up and I had to rip my hair out to get it off and how I lost my voice in the first interview and then my jaw kept "sticking" (I'm pretty sure I've had some sort of tmj for years). By the fourth day, I only got about 3 hours of sleep because I kept worrying about it. Apparently my first feelings were right.
