There are quite a few fellowships available in Australia. There are some excellent fellowships available at the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital in Melbourne (Vitreoretinal x 2, medical retina, glaucoma, cornea x 2, ocular motility, pediatrics). Others are at the Sydney Eye Hospital, Flinders in Adelaide & some in Perth. Some are very competitive to get, but it is pretty easy to get a temporary medical license - all you need is a medical degree & good English.
