I am an M1 and began the anki king deck 2 months ago. Recently I felt study fatigued and dropped the ball on a week of card reviews for the GI section. What is the best way to get a handle on this and get back on track?
 
I'm in the same boat. I took 4 days off this week, partly because I completely forgot about cards (I'm still building the habit of doing them daily), and partly because I didn't want to do them 2 days this week.

So now I'm 350 cards in the hole, which isn't too bad, because I've only been doing cards for a couple of weeks. Anyway, my plan today is just to Pomodoro my way through them, 20-25 min at a time with breaks in between.

There's no secret formula for this. Don't add any new cards until you've completed your built up reviews. Suck it up and get them done ASAP.

One tip I do suggest is changing your lapse settings if you are still using the default. Change your "new interval" from 0% to ~40-50%. That will help you reduce daily reviews and keep you more honest without significantly affecting your overall recall.
 
Later on, you can always modify your deck intervals/ease factors in the settings to make reviews more manageable. I've found that there's a point of diminishing returns for Anki after several reviews of each card, after which I'll reinforce the big picture or connect the dots by doing many practice questions or memorizing tables in First Aid. Basically I use Anki for foundation and review

So it wont restart as a brand new card. Thank you that is a great tip!

I always use it as a preview of the next section I am going into while using first aid to help me understand. I fell behind in class work though. Thank you for responding
 
I pick a feasible number of days in which i'd like to catch up.

Take (# of due reviews + number that will become due to this period, you can check this in the statistics page) then divide that by your retention rate to adjust for cards you'll miss and thus repeat on a 1d interval.

Divide that number by the number of days and you get the # of cards/day to catch up on reviews and stay on top of incoming reviews over that period of catch up.

Simpler method is just do ~200 more cards than you usually do per day and it will work itself out eventually given enough time and consistency with incoming reviews.
 
I would use the postpone app. And then go back on your anki schedule 7 days in the past. Then start like nothing happened
That sounds like a miracle. Where can I find that. Yeah this week has been shot I have a GI test tomorrow and I dont know where the time went so that app would be incredible
