Its hard doing all this while school is in session.
and, I wonder what curve balls Harcourt is going to throw @ us

i dont have much time to study..work CVS ....school..omg..what i should do ...am taking the exam for first time in october ..am using kaplan and cliffs...what sources u guys using..i also did the practice test and got 70 with no much study..i hope the real exam is like the practice

yea with school, work and studying for the Pcats is really tough. Hopefully they wont make the test any harder than the previous ones this year, seeing that a lot of people did really well. Hope the testing difficutly stays the same.

im just using kaplan and various mini-study guides/supplements/text-books and ofcourse, the internet.

It seems to me that theres really no company that has a good enough handle on the pcat.

How do you guys prepare for Biology?
I saw many questions related to microbiology on August PCAT.
Is there anything that you can recommend?

I felt Kaplan was a really good source for Bio. The only questions that weren't covered in Kaplan bio were the micro questions, but they were really hard and it seems people think those were the experimental questions.

I'm just gonna drop a general hint/note about the PCAT that I got from a credible source... maybe it's not news to some people but it was to me and some others that took the PCAT a year ago.....

1. Study Organic chem. it's about 40% of the chem section. Those of you who haven't taken organic, like myself, learn how to name the darn things and identify!
2. Don't worry too much about geometry, they're taking a lot off. Know derivatives, integrals, instantaneous rate, word problems.

That's all I'm going to give away for now 🙂

PS: Stay away from Kaplan as far as the verbal section goes. I was told they do a horrible PCAT prep review.

i thought kaplan GRE words are very helpful for the exam,..am using kaplan book for biology which i think it covers almost everything..but for organic u will need another text for sure..i dont know any more advises from past exam takers will be awsome
