Fellowship in Canada after IM U.S residency?

Whats the deal with this?

I'm a Canadian citizen.

I'm currently doing M.D/med school in the UK.

Lets say I do Internal medicine residency in the U.S on J1 visa.

Then I want to do a fellowship in Canada...like cardiology or gastro.

Is this possible/realistic? Does Canada recognize ABIM?
