Hey everyone,

I've decided that DO is the way to go for me, and since I am new to the whole process I have a few questions.
-I intened to do some grade replacement at a CC near my while I work full time, just making sure those semester hours will count and/or online classes.
-Will it hurt or help if I make a ACCOMAS log in now, even though I wont be applying for 2 years, just so I can keep an active count of GPA and experience by inputting my undergrad transcript and then each class as I go.

Thanks for the help!

The community college credits should be perfectly fine, but some schools prefer you not do a lot of the upper classes at a community college - also, be careful with online classes, there are so many obstacles you have to look out for when doing an online class, because some schools allow certain online courses while other schools may not accept that very course credit for the online course.

As far as making an AACOMAS login (Not "ACCOMAS" lol) I would wait because it does not save your in formation from year to year - AACOMAS refreshes the application portal for every cycle, therefore you would lost all of your saved progress. I would use an excel spreadsheet to store your GPA Data and all that good stuff.

Yeah I figured, my upper level classes are solid, really just repeating some freshman year gen eds at a CC to boost gpa.. so that works. Also an excel sheet is a good idea as opposed to AACOMAS (no typo this time), I just want to make sure my calculations are accurate. Anyone have a proven template?

It will be okay since you are mostly repeating your lower division courses. Make sure the course name and the course unit are acceptable (same or more units) to avoid trouble later on. Good luck!
