1) So I have yet to e-submit because I'm still trying to chop out stuff on my PS. Its 5400 characters long! How did you guys manage to condense all you want to say in 4500 characters? I am planning to submit by this THURSDAY, June 17th. Is that considered early still even 2 weeks after the opening date?

2) Also I have filled out and turned in my transcript matching request forms to all the institutions I attended but have not e submitted. What if the transcripts arrive before I e-submit, will that be a problem for them to verify my grades? I always assumed that you would e submit first and then the transcripts would follow after, but since I'm lagging with my PS I haven't submitted. Anyway any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks you!

1) You're going to have to solve your PS problem. June 17th is still early.

2) No.

Advice: Get PS ironed out. Then submit.

Start hacking out paragraphs! You gotta really slim yours down. Get rid of "filler sentences," avoid using 2 adjectives per sentence.

1) Have as many people read it as possible. My PS got shorter after each revision. Take out any facts that are already stated in the rest of your application.
2) On your application status, there is a place for transcripts. AADSAS will update that section even if you haven't e-submit yet, so there is no hurry to e-submit until all of your transcripts are received.

Yeah, Mid-July would count as early considering when you're taking your DAT. Besides... if you submit now, schools will only see your old DAT scores since there's no place to say you're retaking the DAT on this years app.

Definitely, get your PS ironed out. Submitting this early and having a lackluster PS is much worse than waiting a month to submit and having a more polished PS. Also, OP if you still have my e-mail, you can go ahead and send it to me and I'll take a look at it.

E-submitting your app only serves to let AADSAS know that once they receive all transcripts and letters (and they are all verified) that it's okay to send out right away. Nothing will get mailed to the schools by AADSAS if they don't have all the transcripts and LORs.
