In studying the common latin abbreviations there is an abbreviation, the latin phrase, and the meaning - do you have to know the latin phrase?

Ex: a - ante - before

Also, I need help on one of the math questions since the answer is not in the back of the book.

A prescription calls for 0.0025g of atropine sulfate. How much of a 1:10 stock powder must be used for this Rx?

Thanks for any help

This is how I would solve it... Stock powder is 10% atropine. Ten percent of the total g of powder needed is 0.0025g. Divide 0.0025g by 0.1 and you get 0.025g stock powder needed.
