Starting my review of physiology right now and I have a few questions before I really get into it. How much details should I know everything in physio? From what I"ve heard most of the step 1 q's are more pathophysiology rather than straight concepts.

I'm having a hard time memorizing a lot of the smaller concepts from BRS right now (finished the first cell review section and about half way through cardio).

Thanks

I had many straight physio questions on mine, including several 3 X 6 + "up/down/no change" questions - the ones that you cannot do process of elimination to get down to 1 or 2 choices. I took it 2 years ago, so I can't give you examples, but definitely do not slack on physio. BRS should be good enough to do well.

Thanks I guess I'm going to bear with it then. Some of the graphs are just mind boggling though :/

i am curious about this too. What type of equations do we have to know? I figure, the renal ones are pretty important, but what about some of those hard core hemodynamic ones, nernst, etc.? Do they actually make you calculate stuff, or is it mainly just around concepts? And, if they do make you calculate stuff, they must provide an online calc, eh?
