Anyone received a check yet for FICA refunds? I have filled out paperwork from my residency but have not heard back. Substantials sums of money are involved. Plus interest; and only the interest portion is taxable. So the bulk of the refund is yours to keep! As soon as someone gets the refund, could they please post. Thanks

I know several people who have tried, including myself, and have not heard of any success stories.

My brother in law got $15,000. But he was a resident from 1994-1999. I think the law changed for 2006 on.
