please help! does anyone know how to get the ficher projection from the 3-D image of the molecule or newman projection. I can understand the backbone but the right and left side of the projection is killing me.

You just need to act like you are viewing the molecule from above it and place what you see on your right to the right and left to your left. I'm not sure how else to explain it.
