During fight or flight, the blood pressure increases. However, the urine production also increases. this seems odd to be. Does feces production also increase? someone explain plz.

Urine production is partially due to blood pressure. Increase blood pressure = increase renal perfusion = increased urine production.

Feces production in terms of amount has nothing to do with the sympathetic nervous system. If anything, during a state of sympathetic dominance intestinal motility and peristalsis will decrease due to the corresponding decrease in parasympathetic innervation.

The fact that the gut is innervated never changes, the tone changes. Inc sympathetic tone and dec PS tone will lead to decreased gut motility. During a fight/flight response in addition to blood pressure, cardiac output is also increased (inc rate and force of heart contraction), leading to greater flow through the kidneys and inc urine production.

"Rest and digest"-parasympathetic response

The sympathetic nervous system is responsible for fight or flight. It mainly used hormones (cortisol, epinephrine) and releases norephinephrine. It increases HR which also leads to an increase in urine production. It also increases respiratory function. It decreases digestive functions, inflammation and immunity responses (so feces production does not increase).

Parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for rest and digest. It increases digestive processes by inducing GI tract motility which would cause an increase in feces production. It decreases HR, respiration and muscle activity.

You're correct; innervation was the wrong term to use.
