Hi guys! I'm trying to wrap my head around the concept of filtration rate and how it relates to the kidneys.
Basically what I don't understand is why filtration rate is higher for smaller proteins. Is filtration rate a measure of the amount of fluid passing through a filter per unit time or is it a measure of the solute removed per unit time?
