hi, is it possible to apply for financial aid for the AADSAS application?? or DAT???

Yes, you can apply for a discount/reimbursement but you have to prove financial hardship. Try a little harder at searching through the AADSAS site, the info is in there somewhere.

i applied and was denied : "failed to demonstrate financial hardship"....

I need $$$ I don't know how they came to their conclusion.

go to the login page off aadsas and don't log in. it's one of the tabs on the left. "fee reduction program". good luck.

I got financial aid through this J-O-B program.

You show up and do what they tell you to do and then at predefined intervals you get money from them.

oh screw you, some people don't get everything from mommy and daddy, and can't use their money they get from their J-O-B for spending money or even for the AADSAS application, they need every penny to pay their R-E-N-T

You can always fund it with a credit card to get things started, apply for fee reduction (a reaaaalllly long shot), make minimum payments until accepted, and then use financial aid to pay off the card. Of course, with the 14 year repayment plan this is probably not the most fiscally conservative thing you could do.

I took out a personal loan to pay for the costs incurred this application cycle and last years since I'm not financially disadvantaged enough (my bank account begs to differ). And most of it went on my credit card until the loans were disbursed. Needless to say, I'm broke so I better get in!!!!
