Final Frapp Poll

I think people use frap/piano as an excuse....I mean bottom line is it says in the %ile the rank you were out of people who took that exact same test....if there was a significant statisitical difference the ADEA would take steps to fix the situation....
just sayin,

I dont think the %ile is for a particular test, i think it is for all tests total.

I don't think with 4.0 and being frapped can't read, u just have to serach for answers and then don't even remember what the passages were about IMO 😀

Ya, klutzy is right.
The percentiles are made before people take the tests and I think they are just estimates.
Correct me if I am wrong.
i was lucky that i didn't get frapped nor pianoed. i got an infectious diseases passage, which was ridiculously easy as the answers came in almost perfect descending order. i got a neuroanatomy passage, which would have killed me had i not been a neuroscience major. and lastly, i got a stupid floating bridges passage, which was kinda weird yet easy to digest.

You got the floating bridges/spinal cord combo, ahh you are so lucky. It is known to be super easy.

I got the same three but not in that order ... diseases, bridge, neuro
I got frapped the first time I took the DATs. Back then I didn't know what frapped was. It was definitely a hard passage, and I got a 20 on RC, which put me in the 67th percentile

You got a passage about frapp???
I was so freaking stressed that I do not remember which passages I got. But I do know that God was thinking of me when I did not get frapp or piano.
I am still disappointed with my RC score, practice tests had been 21 and 22's; so im upset with a 19. oh well, no frapp or piano. even though I do not remember the topics, I do know that I ran out of time on the 3rd passage and just had to mark some answers.

Er, yes. (Not sure if you're talking to me or to someone else.)

I never heard of a passage about Frapp.
I never heard of a passage about Frapp.
You mean I've never heard of it right?

Correct thanks for the grammar correction. BTW in your profile where is Tejas lol.
Get over it. You didn't do bad on the DAT cause you got "frapped"
I agree with the above post. I just had the piano passage a few days ago. When I saw it I got nervous, but I guess that helped me to attack it even more. It's really not that bad as long as you make sure to understand the passage before answering the questions. What I did was write a summary of each paragraph because there was no way I could remember all that detail later. Turns out after doing that I had all the answers to the questions from my summary.
what does "frapped" mean? I understand that it refers to the RC section and I have seen posts complaining about it but I am not sure what makes it so hard. Is it harder to find answers or understand the material given or something else?
thanks for helping 🙂

The FRAP thing was a question in the bio section. The reading section that goes with that test was pretty rough. I took the test twice. My scores on the non-Frap test were all between 22 and 25 with a 23 in RC. My scores on the Frap test were all between 22 and 29 EXCEPT RC, where I pulled off a 16. For the record, I took the Frap test second (first score had expired). I used the same technique on both tests so unless my reading skills declined or I was lucky enough to get past being functionally illiterate the first time I took the DAT, I'd have to say that the Frap test does have a hard RC section.
