I am wondering (I know it varies by program), but in general how likely is it that a program will rescind their offer of admission based on final semester grades?

I think, at the worst, that I am looking at all Bs....although I think that is fairly unlikely..

Are they looking at final semester grades in isolation, or is it just the overall GPA?

I'm in the same boat. I'm even looking at a possible C or two - it was really hard to focus this semester. I'm nervous.

I'm sure all B's are fine. They are looking for a drastic drop in GPA or flunking classes that results in not graduating.

I would be SHOCKED if they rescinded for all B's.

All C's...maybe...even that I don't think is terribly likely.

Man! I'm glad I'm not the only one who kind of checked-out this semester. I think I have all A's & maybe one B or [shock] C. I've just had a really hard time focusing (& caring) this semester!

I'm on quarter system + moving to a semester system = very short summer. There is less than two months between my graduation date and my start date. Therefore, it is necessary to check out on some level 😱 Or maybe it's just that my classes aren't as stimulating as usual?

I think it's simply a matter of graduating... no one I know of ever had a problem.

I definitely have a short summer too. I have approx. 3 weeks between the end of my masters program and the start of a doctoral program. In that three weeks I need to move from the west coast to the east coast! Yikes! However, Im coming out of a year-round program so I'm thankful I have a "whole" three weeks off 😛 I miss the summers from undergrad and highschool! Full MONTHS off!

I had to give a post-graduation UG transcript to my grad school after september. Some grad schools have an absolute gpa cutoff (3.0 or something), so maybe if you did really dismally and drove your GPA under that, there could be trouble. Otherwise I doubt anyone will ever know, let alone care. Just don't fail anything 😛

Oh, but some awards that I've applied for this year wanted to see undergrad transcripts, so don't completely call in your last semester.
