Final stages of studying!?!

Yikes, so my test is coming up on the 19th and I've been studying my tail off. What do you suggest is the most important things to complete in these next few days? I have a list of things I want to complete but I don't know if I can get it all done, so what's do you suggest do first....

To do...rework destroyer again, 4 more practice tests to take, Crack DAT PAT, possibly re-read Cliffs, and are the Kaplan subject tests worth going over again? I'm trying to cram it all in AHHH!

mine is on 19th as well. I will be taking 1 full length practice test everyday and review it (total 6 hours), re-read cliffs (2hrs), re-read shaums (2 hrs), take CDP test every other day, doing destroyer 30 qs for each subject (3 hrs).

that's a great schedule MrsToothLady. You have taken the DAT before correct? Do you know anything about the Kaplan online subject tests, you think they are worth going over again as well?

i just did achiever exam and freaked out on biology section.

and scored 17.......................................................................

but i thought gen chem and orchem were not that bad.

If you have time definitely go over it again! I would love to go over all the tests from kaplan & achiever again but I just dont have time. Try to do as many as you can! Bio is no where near close. Ochem & chem are really comparable I would say. So definitely do those if you have time. QR for kaplan is tough but I think you will some of those offball question on the real thing as well, plus for QR its all about practice practice practice! RC hmm I don't think any source available out there is comparable to real thing, so no need to redo those. PAT just keep on doing CDP.

I did worse than you, achiever bio is freaking ridiculous. But yea chem & ochem are not bad at all. Even QR is very easy.

I don't remember everything specifically since I took the test last year. Plus there are different version of DAT, so i don't wanna give out wrong information. I dont know about the wording but the level of difficulty of gchem & ochem is comparable to the real thing.

13 hrs a day? wow! How do you concentrate for that long. Mine is on the 22nd. And I'm just going over my weakest and I will try to do a practice test every other day. It takes so much longer to review your answers than to take the test.

Gchem and QR are still my weakest subject, so I'm gonna try to do that the most. I think that it's better to work on your weakest subject(s) than your best subjects. B/c since your so good at the best stuff already there is little room for improvements. And since I suck at QR, there should be plenty of room for improvements -- If i can only concentrate!

No worries, my achiever test scores haven't been too hot either. I'm trying not to let that get to me.

Thanks for the advice MsToothLady, I'm gonna try and squeeze in all I can. I wish we weren't so pressed for time. Your study schedule has gotten me motivated so hopefully I can put in that many hours as well. I might need your encouragement over the next few days! lol. Good luck study guys.

Hoang if you are having trouble concentrating...I just think about how bad I would do if I didn't keep on studying. When I start freaking out that's when I waste time, so I just keep my nose in the books to keep me going. That will motivate you to utilize your time wisely.

Mines on the 17th really really soon!

Gana try and go over destroyer again and keep pounding away at the math. Did all of destroyer OChem and GChem last week. It goes much faster the more you do it caze you can quickly spot if you made a mistake and understand the concept instead of looking things up on wiki or ina text book like the first or second time around

Lol its really not hard to concentrate when the exam is coming up in less than 1 week
