Final Transcript Question

My senior grades are falling

Until last semester, I had anywhere from A+ to B-. But this, my last semester, I'm not doing well. This is where I'm at right now.

Immunology 400 lvl (C/C-) - Family emergency happened a week before the first exam and had no time to study at all, got D.
Japanese 100 lvl but @ 2nd semester lvl, had 1st one last semester and got A- (B/C) - it's just too hard for me. Not as easy as the 1st one. their grammar is killing me.
Immunology Lab 400 lvl (A/B)
Epidemiology 400 lvl (A/B)

Not worried about C in Japanese much but that with C in Immunology is hurting me. What do you think?

i dont think they will really care? its not like you completely failed.

if they do care, then try to explain to them about the family emergency?

I don't think schools are going to care unless all your grades dropped to C's and maybe D's. If you have A's and B's with a C, nothing will happen.

Dental schools would probably question if you ended up having a significantly lower GPA for that semester. I mean lower than your GPA last semester. They often look at your trend to see if you're improving or not.

Are you doing any pre-reqs? If not, since you've been accepted I think a B or even C will be definately alright. If you are doing pre-reqs, see what their minimum grade is to see if you're safe.

call the school and ask... i was in a very similar sitiuation and stressed over it for a really long time then i just called the school and told them the whole story. they called back and told me don;t worry about it .... so don't stress ur self if u don;t have to.
