Finalizing my DO school list

MCAT: 26 (balanced)
cGPA: 3.5x
sGPA: 3.4x
CT Resident

LOR: Strong. 2 science, 1 non science.

Decent ECs (Clinical volunteering, teaching assistant, research)

In progress: waiting to shadow a DO and hopefully get a letter of rec from them, also waiting to shadow an MD. Both should be done before secondaries come in so I can update my experiences and have the DO LOR ready.

Any suggestions in terms of taking some off (due to in state bias, etc) or adding some more?

I think you might want to add some easier/mid level schools, your list seems a little top heavy:
VCOM, WVSOM, LECOM, etc

Also NYIT has SOME in state bias, UNECOM has some regional pref but CT might be close enough

Not a fan of LUCOM or the LECOMs and MSUCOM has too high of an OOS tuition so this is what I've got so far

Wouldn't bother with rowan unless your from nj.

You should apply to Lecom and see what you think of it. Maybe bradenton campus if you don't like snow.

Maybe add Pcom ga also

Thank you! Didnt know about Rowan I thought being in new england area was enough. Took off Rowan, added PCOM georgia. Nothing against LECOM but some of the rules do not work for me.

I would take off PCOM GA (stick to PCOM Philly)- the GA has bias

Consider Campbell, vcom Carolinas, auburn

UNECOM is your backer- I believe CT is part of their region so there is a good chance of hearing something from them

I can't imagine a definition of New England that doesn't count CT...
