Finally AACOMAS updated status!!

Hello!! I just checked AACOMAS web and they changed my status from updated 6/12/08 to released 7/16/08.
I submitted my application on 6/12/08.
Also, they uploaded my application for each school I applied as a pdf file.
I could check my verified gpa and other stuffs.
Anyone else??

Mine still says "submitted", no date, nothing. I submitted it on 6/22 I think. Should I suspect a problem?

edit: actually I think it was the week before; I submitted on 6/15

Same here but I submitted on 6/25. I thought this meant I was verified. Guess not yet...

i don't think it really matters what aacomas said....i've recieved 7 secondaries so far and it still says submitted

Mine says released 7/2. I had submitted 6/3 and have received 4/6 secondaries already. Still can't see what they have for my gpa.

GPA is calculated in the individual PDFs that are linked next to the school's name.

All the ones I know of for this year are email-->online, except for Touro-CA, which snail mailed it.

You won't get secondaries until AACOMAS sends your application to the schools. They won't do that until you're verified. You won't be verified until 3-4 weeks after they receive your final transcript.

No, you're not late in the game. Just make sure that your college has sent out that last transcript and you're ok. If it's been a while that you've requested the transcript, then call your college again and see. Other than that, it's just waiting....Work on secondaries using the prompts that other had provided. That way, when you receive the secondary invitation, you can just turn it around quickly.

Most schools are getting their secondaries out to students in July. Many begin interviews mid to late September or October, so they would notify in August/September. Keep in mind that they consider you in order of receipt of ALL materials. They'll usually not consider your app until they have AACOMAS, MCAT, Secondary, Secondary fee, and all required or declared LORs.

i sent out my last transcript via rush/express mail on 7/6 and the website still says they haven't recieved any of my transcripts when i also sent them to amcas and they've already recieved all of mine.

do they take a while to update when they recieved the transcripts?
should i be worried and send them out again?

They're slow. Work on secondaries to occupy your anxious mind. That's how the rest of us get our stuff done so early. 👍

some schools have them posted on their website.. Less than half of the schools I applied to have them up but its at least something so they dont all pile up at once!!

The black ones were confirmed by yours truly for this year. The red ones I'm not sure of, only because I haven't received them personally. Search their sites for info.
