Dear Applicant:

The University of Louisville School of Dentistry appreciates your interest. Our admissions cycle is now complete and all positions have been filled. Therefore, we regret to inform you that your application will no longer receive further consideration for 2006.

If you are interested in being considered for admission to the 2007 entering class, you will need to reapply through AADSAS. Applications may be submitted beginning June 1, 2006 at www.adea.org. Because of the marked increase in the number of qualified applicants, it would be wise to apply early!

In addition, we ask that you hold all inquiries about strengthening your application until after April 3, 2006.

Again, thank you for your interest in our School. Best wishes in your pursuit to become a dentist.

The first letter I got from them was in August saying my application was complete. Then fast forward to yesterday, that's what I get. 🙄

I received the rejection letter today as well.

i would have gotten one today if I had not withdrawn in early Jan. I never heard anything from them after I gave tham $ for the application fee.

I had no interview, got the rejection today.

I checked my mail and there was no letter...I was invited to their first day of interviews and am/was on the "next to be contacted" list.

rejection from there. I don't know about you but email is the most impersonal way of doing rejections.

The class is probably filled as far as deposits go, but anyone could withdraw up until the first day of classes...so maybe everyone on the "next to be called" list will be in the running until the bitter end.

What a great email, I was terribly waiting for their fast pace application processing. They don't tell you anything nor send you anthing after they get the admission fee and they wait until mid Feb. to say oh sorry our class is filled. How stupid! I am glad I was not waiting on them.

I got one of those nice emails today too. Previous to that was an email telling me their computers were down and they were behind in processing their apps. That was back in November. Their communication process leaves much to be desired. That's OK; I have one better. Today I received a letter from U of Iowa rejecting me a SECOND time! The first one had come less than a week from "we are processing your application" way back in September. Dumb a$$es don't even know who they've already kicked out of the pool! It's a good day...still waiting. 🙄

I got it too! What a sh*tty way to start my Friday! The thing that really pissed me of was that the subject of the email read "Application Status Update from ULSD!" with an exclamation at the end which at first glance appears to be good news! What a slap in the face! 😡

Wow. For $50 bucks I would of thought they could have at least sent me a personalized letter....suck.....take my money and run.
