dude, be careful with sending your PS to anyone, especailly those who have only posted a couple of times here ;-) -- You don't want your PS become a public statement....

Doc is very good resource but just a word of caution about him - he is utterly and brutally honest about his comments so don't be offended after his feedback. Just follow his advice …

Use Doc. If you want I'm bored and I have already submitted/heard back from schools so I can look if you want. Don't trust people with low post counts...especially 1 and 4. If anything, try to ask your dentist or someone you shadowed to read it too.

Also, if you're in school you can have your pre-health advisor take a look at it. Or use the writing tutors/consultants at your school. They're likely free and probably see a ton of personal statements.

DO NOT send your personal statement to ANYONE on this forum....how do you know they won't just steal it and use it for themselves? Or maybe they'll just give you bad advice.....like someone said above...have your pre-health advisor, family, the dentist you shadowed....anyone OUTSIDE of this forum check it....don't be so trusting...
