It was a relief....I feel its a good school. Still waiting to hear back from ASDOH, though!

On a related note, anyone know how I can take biochem this late in the game? :scared: I am a non-trad student in the middle of a career....UNLV requires this course and since I had inferred through conversations with them that they didn't want me anymore I had no plans to take it.

first off congrats
secondly, i am sure u can find a school that offers it over the summer. call them and make sure it will suffice

Congrats! I took it through Berkeley Online Extension. You need to do 11 modules (more like homework) and a final. They have many authorized places you can go to take your final. I highly recommend it. The professor is great and very responsive.

congrats ruprick! now maybe you can take that cork off your fork

congrats dude. maybe you can tell me why i should go to unlv

I see that you're in Arizona. If you live in the Phoenix area, could you take the class over the summer at ASU or at a community college? Another option would be to take an online class from Rio Salado. I know someone that took anatomy/physiology online from them, so I'd imagine they'd offer biochem online too. You could also move to LV early and take biochem from UNLV in the summer before you start dental school there.

Where is Rio Salado? I need to take a physiology course, but my school only offers the 4 credit course with the lab. I only need the 3 credit course without the lab, so if I could take it on-line that would be great; less work. Do you know anything else about the course or how you apply for admissions?

kewl - u can take the core at UNLV

It's in Arizona, but they allow out-of-staters to take courses from them online too. Usually the only time you need to be at a facility is for the midterm and final. If you're taking classes from outside the state, you can have your final proctored by someone at an accredited univeristy. Here's the link for more details:

The person I know who took the anatomy/physiology class said it was pretty easy.

Thanks! Do you know if the course is anatomy and Phys. together. Or are they different courses?

It's anatomy+physiology
