after you turn in fafsa, the school handles everything now. it all depends on your school. for my school, they asked me to turn in more of my parents' tax information and some family stuff(like household, how many people in college in family, etc...). your school will organize everything and calculate how much you need. you'll be notified and you can accept all of it, partial, or none...whatever you choose through your school. from here, you can select your lender and fill out an MPN with them. finally, you'll be disbursed with the money a couple of weeks before school starts. just contact your school and wait for them because everyone will be different. good luck!
