Financial Aid Awards: When?

Hi, I was wondering when medical schools begin to send out financial aid awards. Does it depend on the school? What if you are on waitlist from one of the schools and haven't yet been accepted?
If you don't get the award statement until you get in, then how are you supposed to compare the schools?

It pretty much varies with each school. What you could do is find out when the schools you are accepted to send them out. As far as to schools you aren't accepted at, they won't do a darn thing till you get accepted because there isn't much point. You'll have to wait for an acceptance for those.
