Financial Aid Process??

When are we supposed to start filling things out for financial aid and loans? I'm not really sure how all of that works. Do we only do it once we get accepted and decide on a school? Is the financial aid/loan apps specific for each school?

You can file for financial aid after you have been accepted.

Most of us here are still applying, so we don't know.

Ask in the dental forums.

All I know is that we all have to file FAFSA for dental school and there is a certain deadline for that.

I think you can start filling it out sometime in February.

schools go over this information as part of interview day, and each school is a bit different, but the gist is that you have to fill out FAFSA and make sure to send it to the right schools. the best advice that can be given at this point is to make sure you have all of your tax information gathered together so that when you get your W2s you can fill out your taxes asap.
