I know this topic has been discussed but I haven't quite found the answer to my question in these threads. Can the amount of financial aid from a school be negotiated based on number of acceptances received or amount of financial aid given from a particular school? (Aside: A school that has accepted you can see the other places you have been accepted through PTCAS, correct?) My understanding is that, unlike for other professional schools, there aren't many scholarship or grant opportunities for incoming PT students. Are our options only loans or scholarships from a particular school, if that school provides them? Can anyone give me more insight into these issues? For my own interest, I'm also curious if anyone knows how other professional schools (law, business, med, etc) support students financially and how that compares to PT school.

Wait, is it true that a school that has accepted you can see the other schools that you have been accepted to?

Also, these are excellent questions - I am gonna bump this just because I am curious myself! I wonder if the loans and scholarships that private schools offer which are usually more generous than those offered from public schools for undergrad follow similar suit for grad school. There are a ton of private loans you can apply for though that really help PT students too! Just have to Google a lot and then make sure whatever you find as far as private loans are legit. Bank loans are also always an option!
