All right,
When I came to this country, I didn't qualify for Fin Aid. So I pretty much depended on merit based scholarships and later on work (apparently my dad makes enough money to support 3 kids in college...I have no idea how they calculate that!) to pay for my education.
I am trying to get ready to get as much money as possible for med school. Trying to be early in the game, because honestly the money situation is freaking me out...and I had some questions about FAFSA

1) I live at home...do I claim I am dependent? I have a job and my parents really don't give me any money...I pretty just live here for free 😛 I think my dad claims I am dependent in his Income Tax Report. Could being dependent/independent affect the outcome? Should I file independent this year? Can I do this?

2) Do I have to wait until I file my Income Tax for 2004. Or can I do this without that?

Hmmm...that is all I can think of right now...I'm sure I'll come up with more questions...
Thanks in advance!

Good luck everyone!
