Has anyone been in the situation where they entered optometry single but got married during school? How did this affect your financial aid? I know by the time you enter optometry school, you are considered independent from your parents. When you got married, did your financial aid change for the next year when adding your spouse's income? Did loan payments increase due to the increase in joint income?
Also this is more specific for couples where one is in school and the other one is working full-time rather than being a student as well.
