I was wondering how long it usually takes for a response after you fill out the FAFSA. I finished mine feb 6 and i still haven't gotten a response.

The financial aid office at the school you will attend will notify you with that information. So, if I were you I would get in contact with them.

You don't normally hear until later in the spring. I would think April at the earliest.

Do you mean a response from your school, or a response from the FAFSA people confirming that it was processed? Others know more than I (and have already commented about that) the answer to the first question, but if you are asking the second question, I received my confirmation of processing ~3 days after I submited.

Yeah, I didn't think about that point. I think they officially say 2 weeks, but it's always taken no more than a few days for me. It that is what you're waiting for, it's possible you didn't get an email confirmation for whatever reason, so go to the FAFSA site and check your status there.
