I believe you should toss out the whole "ranking" idea, unless you plan to be the next superstar surgeon of the milennium, medical school is about how a schools fits with your personality, your needs and your goals as a future physician. I interviewed at Rosalind Franklin (formerly Finch) and I loved it. Had I not already made a decision, RF would be seriously in the running. The facilities are gorgeous, the anatomy lab is well equipped and the opportunities for rotations in Chicago are immense. This school is going through some administrative re-vamping, which happens to even some of the best schools. When you decide to go to medical school, take the effort to really research a school, talk to the students, the director of admissions, or a faculty member if you can. I thought the school was great.
But please, I think you can make a more educated statement about your top choices of schools....while I'm offering my opinion, you might want to be aware that RF will be some students' #1 choice. By labeling as "low" or thinking it's not that great of a school, you might be serving up your own foot with dinner.
