or to clarify, "how low can it go"?

Check the MSAR for averages.

However I don't think it is so easy to get in they get almost 10,000 applications from out of state candidates for only 350 interview spots. You'll have better odds if you are in state.

Good luck!

well actually, pilot, your mistaken...MSAR says that less than 7,000 people from out of state apply, and that the interview percentages for out of staters is 7%, compared to 12% for in staters, a statisticlaly insignificant discrepancy (also in light of the fact that probably only half or less of those out state applications are fully completed). Also, the acceptance rate is 157 for out of state, compared to only 36 for in state (34% acceptance rate for out of state interviewees, compared to 32% for in staters). So in other words, your wrong...

But getting to my point about stats, i hear stories of people with 3.2-3.3s and under 30 mcats from good colleges getting into Finch all the time. Is this true?

I'm in the 4th year class, no one I knew had stats commensurate with those published for our school. Our averages are dragged down by the high number (50) of students entering through the AP program, who in most cases have lower undergraduate stats than regular pathway med students (hence why they're in the AP program). It's roughly on par with NYMC and MCP in terms of competitiveness.

what is Finch like? Im interested in attending but all I have heard is people bad mouthing the school. Are the students friendly or cold and rude? Im from GA everybody's friendly down here😀
