Hello everyone
I’m PMR/Pain in an orthopedic practice. I’m so busy with Pain patients/procedures that I no longer have time for EMGs.
There isn’t enough patient volume to hire another pain doc, but I could really use a PMR/neurologist in Northern Colorado who is willing to travel to another practice 2-3 days a month to do EMGs. The doc could keep 90% of the EMG revenue and I do have a trained EMG tech that would make this physician more efficient if they choose to utilize her. The ortho group has pull and we have great contracts so these EMGs would pay better than any other EMGs in Colorado.
The practice has previously only found full time physicians via standard physician recruiters and they’re leaving it up to me to find this part time EMG help.
Any thoughts on the best options to find someone? Never done this type of search before.
