I have been reading a lot of clinical research threads and everyone says how important a good PI is to getting published, however from those of who who have been successful, what is the best way to find a good PI like this?

Well, you could always look in the yellow pages, or ask some police as many of them retire and become PIs......oh wait, you weren't talking about that type of PI were you? Nevermind.
