I know AMSA has some type of list serve for this type of situation, but I don't know how it works.

You might also consider talking to your school's education office. For my away rotation this year, the school I rotated at sent me a list of people who were willing to do short term leases or sub-lets to visiting med students.

My school talked to alumni to see if we could stay with them. It's turning out to be a great program for interviews. We can get a tip or two about the program before the interview. We can't seem to get them to let us stay for a rotation.
