This is probably a stupid question and I would never bring up a video game if I didn't think it potentially had some relevance, but since I keep seeing emphasis placed on how they want to see that you have fine motor skills, is it worth mentioning in a PS or interview that I was once a competitive Minesweeper player? I solved an intermediate level board in 15.6 seconds and could regularly sub-20 back when I played regularly. At my peak I had a top 30 or 40 score in the world, though it's gotten much more competitive lately.

When you think about it, Minesweeper is perfect because you have to exercise your brain and fine motor skills simultaneously.

Dude if you can swing it in a rational way and make it literally eloquent then go for it lol

Edit - of course if you're still wondering whether that will fly, you can always put more down. I put 3 things for me personally

i would add it! why not, what do you have to lose?

I suppose it might seem unprofessional to brag about being good at a video game. However, schools often mention that they like people to have hobbies where they develop their fine motor skills.

i guess, i might be biased since i have a thing for gamers (who are actually good)

It's a little iffy. Wouldn't be a problem if you had sponsors.

I personally wouldn't put anything about video games on my application. Also in my opinion it would be ideal for the fine motor skills hobby to be a current hobby.

I'm not quite sure using a mouse and carefully clicking the right spots on a screen is relevant to the fine motor skills in dentistry.. but that record you held is still impressive
