Does having a fine hand tremor prevent one from being a successful ophthalmologist?

I'm not sure...My grandma has a fine tremor, though, and I don't think she would make a very good ophthalmologist.

It depends on how 'fine' a tremor it is.. but most likely it won't prevent you from being a good ophthalmologist- however, it may limit the specialty you can go into, for example, vitreoretina will not be possible with membrane peels. But, areas like glaucoma and pediatrics could certainly be possible.
