Hi everyone, I just took the DAT today here are the results:
PAT 22 (97.2%)
QR 19 (81.9%)
RC 21 (80.2%)
Bio 19 (75.3%)
GChem 17 (47.5%)
OChem 18 (61.9%)
TS 18 (61.7%)
AA 19 (73.5)

What do you think about these numbers? Should I consider retaking it? I am a junior at the University of Michigan and my gpa is around a 3, science is lower. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

With those scores and that gpa i would retake it. I have friends with a higher gpa and higher Dat scores, who still didnt get in. If you feel confident that you can get higher, i would retake them. Good luck...

Depends on your extracurriculars, but your DAT isn't bad at all. Your AA is slightly above average at my state school, at 18, and your PAT score is through the roof.

Ddstoothache might tell you not to retake; I actually think your score might be ok. However with a low GPA (unless you're graduated from an Ivy League schools or you got connection than there might be an "otherwise"), you probably will (it's gonna hurt a little) get rejected if you apply this cycle. Do a master and apply the next cycle. Good luck!

i think doing a masters is right on the money. A professor told me it shows professional schools that you can study hard and complete a graduate program of study. With the DAT scores since you are in your junior year go ahead and take them again, but only take them again when you are absolutely ready for it. Don't take it when you are busy with to much other stuff.
