thought I would post my experience since I thought it was useful reading others on this site. subject to change based on my score but for now...
really just like q bank, but with a better mix. more easy ones on the real thing than I was expecting. the vignettes were not incredibly long and I did not have a time crunch. It did seem like there would be a sting of easy ones, then a few harder ones and then a few which I had no clue about. the pictures and graphs were all straightforward and helped most of the time. I do agree with past posts about a lot of questions with answers in columns and a bunch of arrows indicating if hormones go up down or the same.
whoever said they are going away from buzzwards or trigger phrases is wrong. mine was full of buzzwords.
FA really has just about everything. supplement with BRS and HY to understand everything, but for your final review, go with first aid.
My prep: My goal on this is to get average to 230 max, so that will give you some perspective on my comments. I studied for 6 weeks about 6-8 hrs a day, usiing Sundays for review and questions only. FA supplemented with BRS and HY. Really, the bests books to get are BRS path and phys and HY BS and nuero. I had the others in the series (biochem, anatomy, immuno, etc, but really didnt need them in retrospect). pharm cards really helped, but FA pharm with qbank covers what you need.
I did most of qbank averaging 50-60 at beginning and around 70 at the end. I also did NMS but qbank is better. I also did the NMBE assessments but again, just like qbank and 90 dollars in whole.
