Hey guys

I'm about 5 months away from my actual exam. I've been using FC and like it a lot. However, I can only afford to put in 2 hrs a day for boards studying on top of my classes. I want to do a targeted study with FC for the first four months before my dedicated study period. What topics should I flag on FC and hammer down?

I was thinking of focusing on pharmacology and drugs (the Pharmacology section plus drugs for each organ system) and master them by the dedicated study period. I think drugs just require brute memorization. During the dedicated study period, I just want to focus on UWorld questions and FA.

Thoughts and inputs?

Drugs and bugs, in my opinion. Those are more or less ideal targets for a pure fact-based flashcard approach. Anatomy also fits the bill here, but it's pretty low yield to spend your time on it in FC; FA will do just fine from what I've heard.

The most important aspect to not getting crushed by your workload in GT/FC is to bank methodically and consistently, without exceeding your banked:mastery too much. Your unmastered question load is the one that gets carried from day to day, week to week, taking up the majority of your time.
