haha

Or just study abroad like I did and visit them.

11.) What are the characteristics of the most successful students in your class? How, if at all, do those characteristics differ from those of the most successful undergraduate students?

Bonus question: how do stress levels compare in the first 2 years to: a) average undergrad, b) mcat prep, c) application season?

So MaenadsDance gets called out as a gunner

Good job NickNaylor (and UChicago friends) and mmmcdowe! Your experiences at med school and advice are very useful, and I greatly appreciate you guys for taking the time to do it.

Glad everyone liked it. We all had a great time, so we'll definitely do this again in the future. If you have any suggestions for improvements, some questions you'd like asked but we didn't answer, or any other feedback, please let us know.

And we were laughing because we were chatting on the side. 😉

And I apparently went down the wrong road with the Galapagos Islands. Dave said he studied abroad there and had a good time... lol.

Tumblr it... haha, random question but, what's up with the pancakes???

This summarizes it nicely.

Medical School is like eating 5 pancakes every day. Not a big deal so long as you eat them every day. But, what if you don't want to eat pancakes one day? Well then you have to eat 10 pancakes the next day or 6 pancakes for five days. Pretty soon you end up with 40 pancakes to eat and only a day to do it in.

I stole this metaphor.

This was helpful Nick Naylor, thanks for doing it. Hopefully your friend didn't get mad at you for the Galapados comment. 😀

In a "boy next door" way. Nick just know that it isn't an insult...AT ALL. You're definitely more attractive. Again, that wasn't the point of me mentioning it.

Well... that was odd...

I'm on top three times in a row. Just to mention it for no reason.
