Hi,

Is there a significant difference between First Aid 2004 and 2005 edition? I've heard that the 2004 ed is actually better than the 2005 ed, but I'm not sure if that's true or not, considering people tend to suggest getting the latest edition of FA.

I've had the 2004 edition for a while now, and I was just wondering if it is necessary to update.

I compared these two a while ago. There is not much difference between the 2004 and 2005 edition. Just a couple of figures were changed and minor changes here and there - so I would say just stick to the 2004. The 2003 was much different though and I would get something newer than that.

Also here is a review of the 2005 edition, you can read this and see if you see any differences between this and the one you have. http://gotmedbooks.com/findbooks.php?action=detail&booknum=65

There are always going to be a couple of small changes. That is how they sell a new edition. Whether on not it is a big deal depends on how anal you are. I had 2003 when some of my classmates had 2004 last year. For some reason it really annoyed me not having those extra couple of figures.

I have the 2003 edition and im studying for boards in june. Cuz i have so much stuff annotated i want to stick with my 2003, a few figures wont kill me. Is there anything i need to put in from the 2005 ? thanks
