First Aid 2011 missing topics from other First Aid ...

Missing or rearranged? I found that there was lots of things moved around from 09 ->10.

I got my hands on FA 2011 and I was comparing it to FA 2009 that I already have. I found that the new FA is missing topics from the previous FA (ie 2010 and 2009) such as chromosomal inversions on page 93 of 2009 FA.

Is this a mistake by FA or does it mean it's no longer tested on Step 1?

Ive got 2009 and 2010 and my impression is what is in FA in one year reflects only what has been tested frequently that year as they get quite a lot of feedback from students, obviously plus the high yield topics.
in my opinion this does not mean that some of the material in 2009, left out in 2010, will not show up again, its just less likely, just my 2 cents.

not really sure what happened to the order of the posts... anyway

would you guys still study the material from the old FA and write it into the new FA? i think i'm just gonna do that just to be safe. it doesn't seem like too much work anyway

I did that for my 2009 -> 2010. It probably took about an hour to get it all in there.

I'm just hoping to either borrow a copy of 2011 from someone, or buy it from B&N to look at and then return. I've been writing notes into the 2010 for a few months now, certainly not going to go switching books at this point.

just in case you didnt know, amazon has it. you can get 2 day free shipping if you have amazon prime, which you can get since you're a student for free up to one year. you just need a .edu email.
