First assisting in Ob-Gyn surgeries

Hi there-
I am wondering what the requirements are to do first assist for OB-GYN surgeries. Does one need to be a nurse, NP, PA, surgical tech....? I am just curious because even though I think ob-gyn is interesting, and I think the surgeries are interesting, I have no desire to be a surgeon. Still, maybe I could be an NP or PA and first assist?

To my knowledge, there are CST, CNOR, and PA-C routes into 1st Assist.
