Hi,

I have my first interview at Vanderbilt comming up in a few wks; For those of you who have had a few interviews now, in hindsight, what do you guys feel is the best way to prep for the first interview? What would you read up on? What specific parts of your application would you need to be most comfortable with? Anything specific for Vandy? Thanks!

1. read over the SDN Interview Feedback and get a sense of what type of questions they ask you. Prepare for these questions for starters.

2. read over your personal statement and your ECs. go over your research stuff if you did research.

3. read over their mission statement and strengths about their school.

4. and just know the general things you should know about during an interview.
-why you want to enter medicine and your influences.
-healthcare issues/current events dealing with these issues (elections)
-ethics issues

5. be confident and have a smile.
