so I have an interview later this month and it is my first. After reading other threads I feel that I will need more then just the one interview in order to get into dental school and I feel that this might be my only one. So I was wondering if anyone has gotten into school with just the one interview or if they know of anyone getting in with only one? thanks for the help
 
It obviously depends on the school, but the fact that they granted you an interview shows they're interested in you. No reason not getting interviews at other schools should affect your chance at that school. But, again, it depends on the school. You have pretty good stats so hopefully you'll get in. How many schools did you apply to?
 
they granted you interview so yes, they are prepared to give you an offer. Whether you will actually receive acceptance does not solely depends on interview outcome. Most likely you will get certain amount of points for your interview performance and will be compared to other interviewed appl- again, your numbers GPA, DAT and your interview score will come into play...
some schools put higher value on personal qualities and some schools will go mostly by DAT GPA scores.
