I do love The Beast, but I was referring to Kingda Ka -- the world's tallest, fastest coaster 🙂

And let me guess... it wasn't running the day you went? Stupid Kingda Ka... I went to Great Adventure 4 times and it never worked while we were there 😛


ETA: this is a fun thread!! Here's mine:

P.S.

When I told my dad I wanted to leave the pre-law track and return to pre-vet but was worried it was "too late" (it was the end of my sophomore year of college), he told me "Darling, the only thing it's too late for you to become is an Olympic gymnast."

Haha...when I used to live in NY during the summers, I went with some friends to Great Adventure and it just happened to be the day they reopened the ride after many months of being closed right after its grand opening. Needless to say, we waited 3.5 hours...it really was quite fun...though definitely not something I'd wait 3.5 hours for ever again.

That happened to me many times over several years, I was convinced it was never running!

I finally got on it last year. It was fun but Nitro, El Toro, and Medusa are much better and the lines are shorter.
